We got a room with bidet. The location was marvellous, just 5 min walk from a central plaza.
Nothing for me.

We didn't have time, so we also wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Location: the hotel was adjacent to tourist attractions, restaurants and public transport, main square, and the centre of the city...
Don’t have any issues at all.

The Casa Museo di Giovanni Verga was quite fascinating, although I couldn't understand a word of what the guide was saying. The Roman Theatre of Catania was amazing, especially when I tripped over a loose stone and nearly fell on my face in front of everyone. As for Catania Cathedral, well, let's just say it's very…cathedral-y.
Oh, and did I mention that the room at the hotel was so cramped? It was like trying to fit a family of elephants into a matchbox.

Reasonable base for a 2-night stay. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Favorable, fantastic location close to tourist attractions and the main square. Polite staff. Close to the center. the hotel of choice in Catania.

Casa Museo di Giovanni Verga was like a time machine, taking me back to the 19th century with its authentic furnishings. The Roman Theatre of Catania made me feel posh, sitting in the ancient ruins. Catania Cathedral was a sight to behold, with its stunning Baroque architecture.
Oh, how I enjoyed being woken up every 15 minutes by the loud street noise outside my window. Truly a symphony of chaos.

The location was ideal, with everything I needed just a stone's throw away, including delicious food options. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, making my experience even better. Plus, the house wine was not only divine but also incredibly affordable. I can't wait to come back in the future and stay longer!
While my overall stay was amazing, there were a couple of small drawbacks. , the hostel only accepted cash payments and I didn't receive a receipt.
